What We Do

We accompany individuals, families, and communities, starting with the parish, toward holiness and embracing their apostolate.

"No believer in Christ, no institution of the church can avoid this supreme duty: to proclaim Christ to all peoples."

- St John Paul II, Mission of the Redeemer

Our Vision

A Social Order Transformed by the Gospel

The Church following the Second Vatican Council declared the special obligation of the laity to sanctify the temporal order. We desire the structured and implicit norms, values and institutions of society to be transformed by the Gospel through men and women deeply in love with Jesus Christ. This desire for a holy and virtuous society cannot be built without holy and virtuous people. We first focus on the parish because it is the place where the temporal and eternal meet for ordinary people.

OUR DREAM

Who do you know that is crazy in love with Jesus? Who do you know that is confident and ready to disciple a hungry soul?

Where is the army of Christ like that of the early church?

Where are the disciples with preferential option of the poor, ready to move from their home and live joyfully simple for the Gospel?

Where is the church that has died with Christ and has risen into the fullness of His joy and freedom?

Where is the church known for its passion for Jesus and boldness in sharing His Gospel?

Our hearts ache for those who don't know Christ. We are awakening the army of disciples in love with Jesus whose lives look like that of the Holy Bible. We expect to see miracles and healings confirming our proclamation of the Gospel. We want to see the second coming of Jesus because every and all souls have been reached.

This crisis will not be changed through words; it can only happen through living a resurrected culture of abundant life. It only costs everything and the only thing we give up in saying yes to Jesus is who we weren't created to be. Revival demands radicality; it begins here and now, with you and me. We must live it.

Who We Are

We are Catholic missionaries whose apostolate exists for the evangelization of the local community and the parish. We foster communion in and around the sacraments, journeying alongside men, women, and families through intentional relationships as we accompany them into deeper maturity in Christ Jesus as missionary disciples, greater understanding of the Catholic faith, and service to the poor. We desire to assist parishioners as they grow in prayerful intimacy with the Trinity and discover and cultivate their apostolate to love and serve those in their sphere of influence while sanctifying the temporal order.

We are faithful to the magisterium in all of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. We serve under joyful obedience to our Bishop of Lafayette, Louisiana, Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel.
